Vintage Pin-Up Photos for Halloween

Hello ghouls and goblins. As you know tonight is the night of spooky festivities so I had to absolutely share these vintage pin-up Halloween photos that I spotted over at Mad Fraulen Vintage












This last photo isn't a pin-up Halloween photo, but I thought it was too charming not to share! It's a photo of two ladies in a Halloween party shop (or rather a party shop during Halloween)

Vintage Photos | Showgirls in Florida 1947 by Allan Grant

I adore these vintage photos of showgirls in Florida photographed by LIFE photographer Allan Grant. Their swimwear and beachwear is so darn cute! The weather in LA has been so wonky and chilly lately, it's making me a bit nostalgic for warm beach days in Florida. Although, nothing quite beats beach weather in California, it's just the Pacific coast is frigid! Enjoy the photos!

Saturday Vintage Inspiration: Betty Grable

I was watching "How to Marry a Millionaire" (1953) last night with Marilyn Monroe, Lauren Bacall, and Betty Grable and just found Betty to be so charming. I've always seen photos of Betty, after all she was the number one pin-up girl during World War II, but this was the first movie I saw with her in it.

The fashions in "How to Marry a Millionare" are quite cute! The three girls portray models all intent to marry rich, (very very rich!) and use their good looks to reel in the men.



BTW, did you know that in her most infamous picture (the 2nd one posted here) she was 5 months pregnant?! I really hope I look that amazing!
