A Walk Through Vintage Parisian Shops: Photos from 1900s-1920s

Wednesday, September 26, 2012

In my mind I have this idyllic vacation of Paris. Like so many others, I fantasize of sitting at a cafe and enjoying a small coffee whilst smoking a cigarette (yes, I know it is BAD for you), wearing a little beret and me wrapped up in an oh so chic vintage trench coat wearing black ballerina flats ala Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face.

My Paris dreams, for the time being, must take a back seat as present life is taking its course and well, dreams just have to remain dreams for awhile.

But I did come across these ever so delightful vintage photographs of shops in Paris photographed between 1900 and 1926 and looking at the window shops of stores in Paris from bygone years...well it's like taking a mini vacation (Adored Vintage style) to France in oh... 2 minutes?
